Investigatory Powers Bill: Email your MP

Go to the action

What's happening?

MPs will be debating the Investigatory Powers Bill on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th June. The Bill still has lots of problems but MPs have a chance to fix some of these. Some MPs have proposed amendments which could make a big difference and force debate about these new spying powers and when they will be used.

Early on Monday morning the Speaker of the House of Commons will decide which amendments get debated. We need to make sure our priorities are top of the list. The amendments with the most support from MPs have a better chance of being debated.

What can you do about it?

Send an email to your MP using the form on this page. Ask them to give their support the amendments we've mentioned in the email template and to turn up to the debate.
